Dani has begun her 5th round of chemo on time, which is really good since it has been delayed in the past and means that she handled the 4th round very well.    Dani’s spirits continue to be high and she has started to spend some time in the VibrantUSA office in San Antonio.  The doctors originally wanted to get 6 rounds of chemo in, and it now appears that this may be possible. So in just another 6 weeks, we hope that Dani will have completed all 6 rounds of chemo and will begin the process of getting fitted with the prosthetic leg.

As you all know, Dani is a very strong willed and independent lady and her getting back up and regaining her independence and mobility will be a very welcomed thing.  Dani is also eagerly awaiting the birth of her new nephew (my little boy!) and we look forward to her getting back out to the Pacific Northwest early next year for some good quality time and visiting.

I’m pretty sure that Dani will be putting out her own post in the coming weeks with a new update.  So until then, thanks for checking in and offering her your support.  I know that she appreciates every comment and well wish that is left behind.
